Functions 1:

The main screen appears once the machine control is switched on. The most important process data is then clearly represented and displayed in the main screen. The dryer can be switched on and/or off by utilising the Start/Stop buttons. Lamp symbols indicate the status of the respective UV lamp (start-up phase, readiness for operation) and the transport drive unit. If a malfunction occurs, then a ticker with the exact cause of the malfunction is displayed. An on-line energy display, as well as a unit counter, can be shown or hidden on request.

A detailed assistant system is available for all screen pages. All important functions of the displayed pages are explained in detail here. The various functions can be accessed via numerous selection menus. Access to the operator or user levels can be protected with a password in order to protect process data. Two keypads are provided for entering data. One "touch" on the desired field is hereby sufficient and an input keyboard is automatically displayed.

Functions 2:

Important additional information as well as security queries are shown via the “Pop-up“ window. The process data can be stored individually in 20 programmes. It is therefore possible to enter two text lines with respectively 10 digits or characters for the programme description. Each UV lamp is equipped with two operating hour counters. This hereby makes it possible to determine the service life of the UV lamps as well as the total illumination time.

If a malfunction occurs, then this will be clearly displayed in a malfunction list. The malfunction history shows all the malfunctions which have occurred to date. The standby function enables the lamp output to be reduced automatically during longer production downtimes. This therefore reduces the energy consumption of the drying system. Depending on the features available, additional parameters such as e.g. UV measuring in mJ, language, unit counter can be set, registered or amended.
